It is one of the famous pilgrimage sites of Uttar Pradesh. On the bank of pious river Ganga near Mirzapur amid the Vindhya hills, the temple is located. The Shaktipeeth of Goddess Vindhyavasni is the adobe of divine power and Blessings. Besides above, there are several other temples also which are situated in the proximity of temple such as, Ashtabhuja Maa Temple and Goddess Kalikoh Temple. Because of these temples and their beliefs, premises is full of crowd of devotees throughout the year. If you visit the temple during Navratri in April and October you can see grand celebration of the occasion.
This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Location of temple is in Southern Part of Varanasi. While travelling between Durga Temple and New Vishwanath Temple BHU, this temple can be visited. It is considered that this temple was established by Goswami Tulsidas (the writer of Ramcharitmanas). Every year, birthday of Lord Hanuman (Hanuman Jayanti) is celebrated by organising a Shobha Yatra from Durga Kund to Sankat Mochan Temple. One can get rid of all his troubles (Sankat) and can get their desires fulfilled by offering prayer at this temple. Tuesday and Saturday are considered to be the best days to offer Pooja to the Lord Hanuman.

The temple is dedicated to the Lord Ram and was constructed by a Banarsi Family. In the year 1964 it was constructed with white marbles. Inside the premises a beautiful garden is also situated which is an added attraction. Along with Lord Rama, idols of Goddess Sita, Lord Lakshaman and Lord Hanuman are also placed here, where devotees offer their prayer. Besides above consideration it is also believed that Goswami Tulsidas had written Ramcharitmanas at this place. Verses from Ramcharitmanas are inscribed on the walls of temple.

Temple name itself describes the name of God to whom it is dedicated. While travelling from Daranagar to Kaal Bhairav Temple one can visit Mritunjay Mahadev Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that offering prayer at this temple results in destruction of all sorrows. Moreover the temple houses a well where it is said that it contains the water of several underground streams which can cure many diseases.

Unlike other temples, it is also one of its kinds and has different belief. This temple is unique because it is not dedicated to any Hindu deity but is dedicated to Bharat Mata i.e., Mother India. Interesting fact about this temple is that it doesn’t contain any idol or statue of Bharat Mata (Mother India). Instead of any idol or statue here, one can see a Map of India which is carved in makrana marbles. This temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. The temple is standing on 5 distinct pillars. These five pillars signify the 5 basic elements of creation of nature i.e., earth, wind, fire, water and sky.
The location of this temple is in Kandwa Area of Varanasi. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is believed that the Shivalinga of the temple is installed by sage Kardam. This temple is known as the first stage of the famous Panchkroshi Yatra. The temple also has special significance in terms of historical temple architecture. Built in the era of the Garhwal dynasty (11-12th century), this temple is a live example of the north Indian Nagara style (temple architectural style).
